Siddis of Wada, Karnataka: An African Community Living in India for Centuries

Siddis are Indian-African community living in Karnataka for several centuries.

Conversation with Emmanuel Siddi, an activist and a social worker for the Siddi communities. He is based in Wada, a small village in Karnataka State, Bangaluru, South of India.

This is the first Siddis (African Indian) boarding school in the State of Karnataka in India. It is located near the village of Gardolli, which is about 30 km from Haliyal.

Conversation with Kiran Kamal Prasad about his involvement and his work in the Siddi communities in Karnataka. He is an Indian human right activist based in Bangalore.
