Delhi High Court's Bail Order for JNU President Kanhaiya

  1. “.The observations made above are only for the purpose of deciding the bail application and shall not be considered as an expression on merits”-para no. 56.does this para sit well with the foregoing observations?

  2. While dealing with the bail plea the Delhi High Court single judge bench has made observations on the merit of the case which at this stage is to be adjudicated by the lower court.
This, on the face of it, is unnecessary and undesirable.
